Masahiko Ono rules. After spending the day packed in an apartment with friends from all over Yamanashi-ken and then continuing onto a karaoke bar, Rick, Marissa, Jessica, and I joined Ono-sensei’s family at their house for an incredible amount of food, drink, and then, more karaoke.

27Apr08Ono (Oh no!) sensei is the replacement for Kunugi sensei and has been at Yamura since the beginning of April. He’s young, 24, and is straight out of his masters program. He’s also intelligent, good at colloquial English, comfortable with himself, and a damn good ally at school.
